The committee created this annual award in honour of Fiona, who sadly passed away in February 2023. Fiona was a wonderful person – friendly, kind, considerate and a tenacious opponent. She represented Greenacres, Nuffield, Berkshire and Scotland with grit, spirit, and was gracious in her few defeats.
In 2024/25, the inaugural Fiona McLean Award was given to the Berkshire Affiliated Member who best embodied a positive attitude and long-term dedication to our sport.
In 2025/26, the Fiona McLean Award was again given to the Berkshire Affiliated Member who best embodied a positive attitude and long-term dedication to our sport.
